Prior to that I was the International Sales Manager for Westin Hotels and have 26 years of selling experience. I am a hard working, dedicated to success, "people person" and I enjoy negotiating. "Rene helped us sell our condo successfully achieving a record high $/sq ft for the area. Rene was one of the few agents that was willing to price and market the property based on the positive attributes instead of relying solely on historical prices. We wouldn't say that the marketing materials were top notch. You would probably get a better package from a larger agency. We pushed for improvements in photography and web presence which never materialized, although Rene did quite a bit of advertising for us. When interviewing Rene, we were struck by the frequency she was involved in helping clients with inspections, repairs, etc. Not being local, we thought this would help us, but she was not very forthcoming with her assistance in our case. Perhaps, we should have asked her directly when we needed help, so we recommend that. A few weeks into the process we received a very low offer. Rene stayed with it and basically muscled the price back up into an acceptable range. She showed real determination and talent in that negotiation. On the downside, she started to pull back from marketing the property aggressively. There were several problems with the offer and a very long close. Fortunately it did close, but more aggressive marketing might have protected us better and maybe yielded a better result as well, considering a unit in the same building sold afterward for slightly more. "
